Cheeze on breads. Two ugly black women fighting one another. Can’t we all get along. Here’s what the Enquirer is reporting.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star NENE LEAKES and former View co-host STAR JONES are embroiled in a nasty public feud – and The ENQUIRER has learned exactly what started it!

The feisty women are vying to be top dog during their appearances on the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice – and insiders say the two clashed soon after they met.

“I wouldn’t spit on Star if she was on fire!” NeNe, 44, recently told talk-show host Wendy Williams.

Viewers will get a glimpse of the disharmony between the two when the show kicks off on March 6, but the insider says the gloves REALLY came off when the cameras stopped rolling.

“NeNe called Star an old, fallen star, and Star told NeNe she was talentless and in a loveless marriage!

“NeNe got in Star’s face and said if she wanted to talk about marriages, she’d be happy to remind Star about her own ex-husband, Al Reynolds. NeNe joked that Al cared more about face creams, manicures and trying to be ‘pretty’ than he did about Star, and that she’d be happy to fix her up with a real man.

“Star was outraged because she’s sick and tired of people making gay jokes about her ex-husband.”

Other women on the show, including Dionne Warwick and La Toya Jackson, were frightened to be around Star and NeNe because they feared their confrontations were going to get physical.

Star, 48, initially remained silent about the conflict, but she recently spoke out, alleging that NeNe’s harsh words are supporting negative stereotypes of black women.

“This actually saddens me,” Star told an interviewer.

“Black women trashing other black women all for the sake of personal aggrandizement…I had hoped we could avoid falling into (that).”
