GPS Is Not Reliable

The near-death experience of a mother who spent 48 days stranded in the mountains has been blamed – on the GPS system. Rita Chretien, 56, and her husband Albert, 59, were driving from their home in British Columbia, Canada, to a trade show in Las Vegas. They had planned to make a rest stop at the small town of Jackpot on the Nevada border and consulted the navigational system for the quickest route from Oregon. GPS is a good tool but I have learnt to carry a map with me also. I followed that GPS one evening to another county and the than thing was trying to send me through a road that doesn’t exist and then through a no entry road.
