In remembrance of the tragic lost in the CAMPUS TRENDZ fire Bridgetown

Today marks the 1st anniversary of the Campus Trendz fire that killed six young women in a robbery that turned tragic. Six People lost their lives on September 03 2010,   when a fire believed to have started by two men who robbed the Campus Trendz store in Tudor Street, The City, engulfed the two-storey building along the busy shopping street, trapping the hapless victims within the inferno.

The original story focused stated that two men with machetes burst into the Campus Trendz clothing store and demanded money before setting the establishment on fire. The blaze was set by a molotov cocktail and three workers and three customers, all women, died in the fire. They were trapped inside the building after fleeing to the back of the store in a bid to escape the blaze.
